Dogs = More Cash

Okay so we were browsing the internet and found an interesting article about how us dogs save the humans money. Here the humans are worrying about money like crazy and yet they aren't even realizing that us dogs are actually doing them a favor and saving them money.

Yes it costs money to own a dog. Everyone should know that by now, I mean we need food, vet bills, toys and treats. Think of us dogs as an investment you have to put money into us in order to make money with us. Now that we explained that to all of you humans out there, let me tell you that since we save you money you should be kind enough to invest some of that back into us. Seriously how hard is it to buy a couple extra treats here or there? It's not hard so please feel free to splurge a little more. Then again in our Mom's case she splurges a lot so I guess we can't complain. I mean I, Missy do have a new collar being made so I can't complain and Monty gets new sweaters and jackets all the time. Granted he doesn't always appreciate them but, still it's the thought that counts. Plus we always get new treats. Just a couple of days ago Mom bought us some dog friendly white chocolate dipped milkbones and they are to die for but, that isn't the point.

The article also stated that us dogs will prolong you humans lives. Which is a good thing if you ask us, I mean the longer you live the happier you are right? Us dogs can also keep you humans in shape if you actually follow through with that walking routine you keep promising us. (That's right Mom we are talking to you. More walks = less weight so chop chop.) We aren't saying we are miracle workers but, we are making baby steps to save you humans in the long run. I guess what it comes down it is this: Quit playing the Mega Million Lottery and start walking and petting us more. That dollar you spent for a ticket could have been saved if you would have walked us and played catch me if you can more often.

If you would like to read more about the article please feel free jump right in head first. http://shine.yahoo.com/pets/4-ways-owning-dog-actually-save-money-132000026.html

P.S. We heard there are benefits to owning cats too but, just not as many.
